Confucius Temple – Qinhuai Scenic Area
Located in the southern part of Nanjing, the Confucius Temple–Qinhuai Scenic Area centers around the historic architectural complex of the Confucius Temple, with the famous “Ten-Mile Qinhuai” as its main axis. Extending from Dongshui Park in the east to Xishuiguan Park in the west, it was recognized as the first open-style tourist attraction in China to be awarded the prestigious AAAAA rating.

The Ming Dynasty Capital
The Ming Dynasty Capital is the joint tomb of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and Empress Ma. With a history of more than 600 years, it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003. As Nanjing’s only World Cultural Heritage site, it served as the prototype for imperial tombs of both the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum
The Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, the final resting place of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, is built in harmony with the surrounding mountain terrain. Ascending the grand staircase from south to north, visitors encounter a majestic axis that includes the Archway of Benevolence and Love, the Sacred Way, the Mausoleum Gate, the Stele Pavilion, the Altar, and finally the Burial Chamber. The layout and atmosphere create a solemn and magnificent impression befitting the “Father of Modern China.”

Meihua Mountain (Plum Blossom Hill)
Located in Nanjing’s Xuanwu District, Plum Blossom Hill is celebrated as the “Number One Plum Blossom Mountain under Heaven.” Plum trees have been cultivated here since the Six Dynasties period, and today the hill boasts over 40,000 trees across about 400 varieties in full bloom. It also serves as the main venue for the Nanjing International Plum Blossom Festival.

Bulao Village
Bulao Village sits at the southern foot of Laoshan National Forest Park, on the western shore of the picturesque Xiangshan Lake. It neighbors the ancient Qifo Temple and connects to the Ning-Chu Expressway, just ten minutes from the Nanjing Yangtze River Tunnel — truly "not far from the city, yet closer to nature."
