Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders
Established on August 15, 1985, the Memorial Hall has grown over 30 years into an internationally recognized site commemorating the tragic events of the Nanjing Massacre. This comprehensive museum covers the history of the massacre, the Japanese military "comfort women" system, and the victory of the global anti-fascist war. Through extensive artifacts, photographs, eyewitness testimonies, videos, archives, and preserved sites, the museum offers a thorough and poignant account of this dark chapter in history. Since December 13, 2014, it has served as the fixed venue for the National Memorial Ceremony for the Nanjing Massacre victims.
