This "internet-famous" Chinese tallow tree is now at its most beautiful! Mochou Lake Park is one of Nanjing's most renowned historical and cultural gardens, honored as "Jinling's foremost scenic attraction." The park is named after the legendary Lady Mochou from the Southern Dynasties. It features not only picturesque lake views but also historical relics such as Shengqi Tower and Yujin Hall, blending natural beauty with deep cultural heritage. Every late autumn, the lush greenery of summer fades into rich autumn colors, making it a favorite destination for both residents and tourists to enjoy fall foliage.

From mid to late November, in the Lotus Garden of the northern area, the Chinese tallow tree known as the "Xiaoxishu (Messenger Tree)"—hailed as the messenger of autumn—becomes the park's iconic autumn landscape.
