From mid to late November, in the Lotus Garden of the northern area, the Chinese tallow tree known as the "Xiaoxishu (Messenger Tree)"—hailed as the messenger of autumn—becomes the park's iconic autumn landscape. Standing by the water, its leaves gradually transform from golden yellow to deep crimson, shining brilliantly under the sunlight.

Beyond this tallow tree, the entire park offers diverse autumn scenery. Along the lakeside paths, Japanese maples and trident maples gradually turn red. The shimmering lake reflects the colorful trees, and as boats glide across the water, poetic ripples spread across the surface.

When the autumn breeze gently blows, the leaves rustle softly, blending with the sounds of insects and laughter. Standing here, the worldly clamor vanishes instantly, leaving only the colorful garden and the tranquil lake. Whether visiting alone, strolling as a couple, or traveling with family, the late autumn of Mochou Lake offers a deeply relaxing experience.
